Architects of Human Capital Excellence Programme
Africa's capacity development institutions often struggle to produce the caliber of human capital needed to address the continent's challenges and drive sustainable development. This initiative is designed to establish and promote standards that address critical gaps comprising:
- Immersive capacity building for Capacity Development Institutions and Professionals built on our 8-Pillars of Standardisation, to empower them to excel in their mandates and consistently produce world-class talent essential for national and global competitiveness.
- CDI Audit and Gap Closure Interventions - to drive the large-scale transformation of capacity development institutions (CDIs), NLO will engage volunteers on guided tours to administer the CDI Audit and Gap Closure Tools across various locations.
- Society for Training Academies, Capacity Development Institutions, and Professionals for continuous access to best practices, emerging trends, and technical support for leaders and professionals in capacity development.
Employability Programme
- To address existing gaps in graduates and professionals who have emerged from unstandardized capacity development institutions, NLO delivers comprehensive upskilling programs aimed at raising the quality of human capital and bridging critical development gaps.
- This initiative empowers young people and citizens through a diverse range of services and activities that unlock their potential in employment, entrepreneurship, and professional development. Key interventions include targeted training, internships, job readiness workshops, start-up funding, apprenticeship programs, small business grants, and career fairs.
- These efforts are designed to provide requisite skills, knowledge, and tools to increase productivity, achieve global competitiveness and thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
Through these initiatives, we create profound and sustainable impact, fostering a stronger and more capable nation.
